Favorite Videogames

This section is dedicated to my favorite videogames! These are in no real order - just whatever came to mind:

Cyberpunk 2077

I preordered this and have been playing it since day 1. I never really experienced anything egregiously bad or that many crashes where I lost significant progress - and my PC is not that good. I have put a good 550 hours into this as of writing this. I think the world of NightCity is portrayed amazingly and the game is very immersive. I just fell in love with the world of Cyberpunk very quickly and this love doesn't seem to be going away any time soon. I think that CDPRs move to Unreal is much needed - and I look forward to playing Orion when it comes out.

Sleeping Dogs

I first played this on the Xbox 360, then I got it on the Xbox One and then finally I bought it on PC. It is a game I come back to quite often because I just love it. It blends the fun of a GTA game, with a unique flair in the form of Kung Fu. It features a lot of references to Kung Fu cinema as well - which is quite welcomed in my opinion. It's a very good game which is not too long nor too short - it is a perfect amount of time in my opinion. I have 148 hours on the Definative Edition on Steam - and I am not sure about the other versions but I would imagine at least 50 on each.

TES IV: Oblivion

This was my first Elder Scrolls games which I sunk an absurd amount of time into growing up. It hasn't aged too well, but this has resulted in a very charmful clunkiness that makes it stick out in my eyes as my personal favorite Elder Scrolls game in the entire series.

Red Dead Redemption 2

I had not played the first game by the time I got around to this - which is why I feel like I enjoyed it more than people I know who did play the first one before. I believe that this is one of the best stories ever told in gaming. Arthur Morgan is easily in my top 5 protagonists of all media. The world is beautiful - the sheer amount of detail put into the world is just unreal. As of writing this I have way over 350 hours on steam, of which I know a large chunk was spent fishing haha.

The Yakuza Series

This series is something I started playing because of memes. I bought Yakuza 0 for next to nothing expecting a funny game only to be sucked into the epic and emotional story of Kiryu Kazuma. I recommend giving Yakuza 0 a chance, as it is to me, one of the best stories in all of gaming. My top 3 are: Yakuza 0, Yakuza 2 Kiwami and Yakuza 5. Yakuza 7 Like a Dragon is a pretty good change up that I wasn't expecting to enjoy as much as I did - though I feel like Like a Dragon 8: Infinite Wealth narratively was a bit lackluster, though the gameplay was pretty good. I am a bit cautious about the series future as Sega seems to be becoming a bit scummy with their practices - but I will probably buy them when they go on sale for a reasonable price lol.

Old School RuneScape

It's simple, easy to run and enjoyable. I have been playing this for close to 15 years at this point. It might be an addiction...

Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga

I recently finished this (100%) for the first time since I was a child. Lego games used to be much comfier than they are now. I think the physical comedy was much better before they started relying too heavily on voice actors. This is just fun to boot up and wack out a few levels after a long day.

Team Fortress 2

TF2 is a game I have sunk thousands of hours into over many years. It has a roster of very lovable characters and a (sometimes) very lovely community. The bot crisis was responsible for me quitting the game and I very rarely boot it up nowadays. If I do, I normally just play on an EU Lazytown private server.

Webfishing

Webfishing is a very recent addition to my steam library and a really fun one at that. It is a casual game with social elements. It's somewhat nostalgic feeling - reminding me of something like toontown or club penguin.

MySims Kingdom

My parents got me this when I was a child and I played the heck out of it. Quite recently, the MySims Cozy Bundle came out on the Switch and I have since become quite addicted to this again lol.
