I finished my studying for the day, and then I went on youtube and got this video in my recommendations. Think she makes a compelling argument regarding performative ambitions/creativity I have felt myself and seen in others I know irl. This year I shall try stuff more earnestly. I feel like a lot of the time I start something and when I am immediately bad at it, I put it to the back of the queue of things I am interested in lol. I think this is not doing me any favors in the long run, and I should make a change!

With the year is coming to an end, I have been doing a lot of reflection on my habits and ambitions for the coming year. I have come to the conclusion that, while my addiction to some internet sites (i.e. youtube, etc) isn't entirely terrible; I feel as though I waste a lot of time on pointless things. I want to get into healthier habits like reading more, hence I should carry around my ereader rather than my phone. I also feel like I should get more hobbies that involve creativity and touching grass more. Creativity especially so, as I have tried them but give up pretty quickly (lol).
I also feel as though I should also invest time into this site more, even though I am unsure of where to take it. However, I don't really feel as though I have anything of value to put out in the world really. I also value my personal privacy quite a lot, which puts me off posting stuff...

I haven't really added anything to this site since the last blog update. I'm not really sure what direction to take it. Other than that Christmas is coming up fast, and thats a little scary lol. My current academic year is also quite heavy, so ???? I will think of an idea for what to do with this site !!!

Added a favourite movies page, dedicated to some of the films I like. I have been enjoying some really old and forgotten movies recently which made me want to make this. Go check it out :)
Added more stuff to the Cantonese resources pages. Decided to mark the romanisation system used because it is actually quite annoying trying to find resources in the system I want lol.
